Le Pliage goes British!

Another addition to Longchamp’s array of limited edition releases is the Le Pliage Play handbag.  If the limited edition Eiffel Tower bag was initially sold in France, the Statue of Liberty bag sold only in New York City, the Great Wall of China bag exclusively in China, and the Miajima bag sold only in Japan, the limited edition Play bag is exclusively sold in Selfridges in London.  Selfridges is a chain of high end department stores in the UK, ranking as the second largest shop only next to Harrods.

Just released a couple of weeks ago (October 17, 2010), the Longchamp Le Pliage Play bag features a somewhat playful design.  The Play handbag uses the same dimensions as the Le Pliage Large Long Handle.  It comes only in white and features a printed design of the four French suits (hearts, diamonds, spades, & clubs) found in the modern-day deck of cards.  The four French suits actually originated from France in the 1480's.  So, it’s a London-exclusive with a French-inspired design!

Longchamp de Manille will be having these bags on hand within November 2010.  You may contact Longchamp de Manille at 0918.9111.912 for assistance with your reservations.
